Anoushka

Hello! My name is Anoushka Saha, and I’m a curious and enthusiastic student from India, excited about exploring new cultures and expanding my horizons. With a passion for learning and a drive to make a difference, I’m eager to share my journey with you.

When I’m not immersed in my studies, you can find me exploring new hobbies, volunteering, or spending time with my family and friends. Join me as I navigate my path towards a fulfilling and enriching future!

Community Service

As part of my commitment to community engagement, I had the privilege of participating in heartwarming engagement sessions for children with hearing impairments.

One particular event was organized by C.C. Saha Ltd. This was led by the renowned theatre artist Ms. Dolly Basu. The children were captivated by the Bengali heritage folk tales from ‘Thakurmar Jhuli,’ and despite both the storyteller and the young listeners wearing hearing aids, the interaction was so seamless that it felt like any hearing barriers had disappeared.

Engaging with these children and witnessing the joy that stories can bring, even in the face of challenges, was a truly enriching experience. I look forward to continuing my involvement in such meaningful initiatives that aim to uplift and inspire our community.

On Children’s Day, November 14, 2024, I led a special workshop at CC Saha Ltd. alongside popular filmmaker Arindam Sil to honor young minds through learning, creativity, and fun. With games, crafts, and storytelling, the day gave kids a chance to express themselves freely in a lively and happy setting. Every moment captured the genuine essence of childhood, from vibrant creations to infectious laughter. Let’s foster creativity and create lifelong memories.

My Academic Journey

Education has always been a cornerstone of my life, and I’m proud to share my academic achievements with you. I am currently studying at Modern High School for Girls where I have pursued a diverse and rigorous curriculum. My favorite subjects include Economics & Maths, which have inspired me to delve deeper into Economics & Finance. I have also participated in various academic competitions and extracurricular activities that have enriched my learning experience.

I have become the President of my school club ‘Scribes’: The Writing Club. I have also become the School’s Hindi Editorial Board Editor-in-Chief. MHS also came first in an interschool event called ‘Youthopia’ and we got the Champions Trophy.

Lawn Tennis has been more than just a sport to me—it’s a passion that has shaped who I am. Over the years, I’ve competed in numerous tournaments, collecting several certificates along the way including gold, silver and bronze. This journey in Tennis has not only fueled my competitive spirit but also taught me discipline, perseverance, and the joy of pushing my limits. It’s a significant part of my life, and every match is a step towards personal growth and excellence.

My Exciting Future Plans

I am thrilled to share that I am planning to study abroad.

This incredible opportunity will allow me to immerse myself in a new culture, gain global perspectives, and further my education. I’m excited about the journey ahead.
